NORTHERN NOISE LIVE: Hhymn & Guests

We’re very excited to announce that Northern Noise will be venturing outside the digital world and into the real one! We’ll be arranging a series of monthly gigs in The Castle Hotel – runner up in Observer Magazine‘s Food Monthly Awards in the ‘Best Place To Drink’ category. Taking to the stage will be some of the best acts we’ve featured online – so come down and say hello.

We’re honored to announce that our inaugural show is to be headlined by Nottingham five-piece, HHymn. The band’s album, In The Depths, was met with outstanding praise earlier this year upon its release. NN writer, Steven Baldwin, said the record was ‘simply superb’, with BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson also agreeing that the group have a ‘magnificently yearning’ sound. On January 28th, Hhymn will be joined by a number of other acts, all of whom will be announced in the next few weeks. Comedian, Daniel Savage, will be compere for the evening. Tickets for the gig will be available on Saturday 12th November via Skiddle and are only £4 online – so get yourself one early as they’re sure to sell quickly. A limited number can be purchased on the door for £5, but it’s best to get them online to ensure entry.
