Ancoats’ hugely popular bakery and brew house Pollen is bringing a new pastry kitchen and coffee house to Kampus’ leafy urban neighbourhood in early 2022.
The independent viennoiserie and sourdough bakery will be taking over a 2,600 square foot space with room for indoor and outdoor seating where punters can enjoy a range of coffees and hot drinks, alongside the ever-popular Cruffins, croissants sourdough sandwiches and baked-goods that have made Pollen a stand-out favourite in the city.
As a brand that champions independent makers and creators, Pollen’s new space promises to feature new artwork from local artist Hayley McCrirrick on the walls and handmade serve ware by Frida Cooper. Overlooking Kampus’s leafy city-centre oasis, Pollen’s new space will also host a range of supperclubs and events.
The bakery and coffee house is the latest addition to Kampus, joining the likes of Common & Co, who will be opening a new pub in the space alongside a slice kitchen from foodie-favourite Nell’s Pizza. Find out more by visiting the Kampus website.
