What a weekend. On Saturday night, throngs of Mancunian music lovers crammed into The Castle Hotel to see Northern Noise Live return to its original stomping ground. We came back in full force following a brief venue hiatus and with us came a knock-out line up of jaw dropping acts. Local lads Civilians kicked things off nicely with a refreshingly blast of indie-goodness. They were followed by the much-buzzed-about Birmingham boys Jaws who did a better job at easing punters into the party mood than a sixth pint. However it was our headlining act Coves who really pushed things into overdrive. Drenched in darkness and speckled with psychedelic colour, their set was a feast for the eyes as well as the ears.
