Sheffield’s Low Duo gained great acclaim with The EP of Fear and Failure earlier this year. The two brothers were invited onto BBC 6 Music to partake in an interview and live session with esteemed fan, Tom Robinson. Furthermore the EP drew attention from The Guardian, with Paul Lester praising them in his New Band of the Day column. They were described as “floppy-fringed brothers… who play folk-tinged ballads that are soft but with a sinister edge.”
It’s been a quiet couple of months, no-one hasĀ been able to give us a fringe-lenght update, but that’s because Low Duo have been busy working on their third EP, due out in January. In the meantime, to say thanks to all the support over the past year, a free EP is being given away entitled A Winter Gift.
The free EP features live recordings, including those done for Tom Robinson and their 6 Music interview. The EP will be taken down after Christmas to be sure to get it while you can…
