The Refuge

Sitting on Oxford Street, The Refuge is a spacious and glamorously designed restaurant, bar and workspace right in the heart of the city that loves dog visits. The venue’s airy layout – spanning a greenhouse, main bar seating and cosy outdoor terrace – mean  finding a quiet spot for you and your dog is easy and when 5pm rolls round, you’ll be able to grab a well-deserved after-work pint (or water for your pup) with minimal fuss.

Ducie Street Warehouse

Ducie Street Warehouse sits behind Piccadilly train station and is so welcoming to dogs, they even let them in their mini-cinema for special dog-friendly screenings. With plenty of booth seats and smaller desks – and an outside terrace for those rare, rain-free days – working at Ducie Street is easy and enjoyable, especially with their in-house coffee shop Counter serving up a steady stream of pep. Fair warning though: this place is also home to Gooey’s extravagant cookies and donuts, which can be hard to resist.

Ezra & Gil

As one of the Northern Quarter’s most popular brunch and lunch spots, you’d be forgiven for purely associating Ezra & Gil for delicious grub. However their window and desk seating also help make this place great for a bit of mid-day working. Like many venues in the centre of town, Ezra is more than happy for you to visit with your pooch – and they even have some free treats up by the coffee counter for your doggo to enjoy.

Whitworth Locke

One of the newer spaces on this list, Whitworth Locke is a quaint and colourful hotel based on Princess Street just by Canal Street. Inside this sweet-smelling spot (you’ll notice the venue’s constantly perfumed aroma as soon as you walk in) you’ll find a sleek cocktail bar and a Foundation coffee shop, alongside a collection of sofas, tables, intimate booths and workspaces. Both the hotel and its lobby working area are friendly to dogs – making this place well worth a visit.
