Experimental electro-psych act Animal Collective have revealed plans to play The Warehouse Project in November. This will be the closing night of a brief four-stop UK tour which will see the Baltimore four-piece perform in London, Dublin and Glasgow. The band will be over in the UK as part of a larger world tour to promote their new album Centipede Hz which is due for release on Monday the 3rd of September.
Last month the band revealed that their new record will take them back to their roots and move away from the sample heavy stylings of its 2009 predecessor Merriweather Post Pavillion. This will be the band’s tenth studio album and their first collection of new material since the release of their visual effort ODDSAC back in 2010.
Animal Collective will be releasing a two-track single later this month to get listeners ready for their new material. Gotham and Honeycomb will hit shelves on June 26 and also be available via digital download.
