Bon Iver will be playing Manchester and Leeds this October as part of their first UK tour in over two years. The Wisconsin indie act released Calgary earlier this week, the first track from their self-titled sophmore album due for release on June 20th.
This new tour will see frontman Justin Vernon accompanied by Bon Iver regulars Sean Carey, Mike Noyce and Matt McCaughan as well as five extra musicians all of whom contributed to the new record. Among the new names are violinist Rob Moose (The National), bassist Mike Lewis and a horn section consisting of Reginald Pace, Colin Stetson (Tom Waits, Arcade Fire) and C.J Camerieri (Sufjan Stevens).
