Folk punk hero Frank Turner has had a busy few months. Not only has he been putting the finishing touches on his latest album, but he’s also been planning an intimate tour of the UK. His new record, ‘England Keep My Bones’ is scheduled for a June 6th release and, as its title suggests, promises to capture the quintessentially English sound the he’s been searching for.
For his new record, Turner has crafted a distinctly nostalgic feel, paying homage to his English roots and the friends and family he so often has to leave behind when he tours. As a result, ‘England Keep My Bones’ has a distinctly folky sound with acoustic guitars very much at its core, covering themes of relationships, religion and morality.
Turner will be showcasing these new songs and more at his upcoming tour dates, details of which can be found below.
