Fresh from a very productive summer which saw these LA born sisters perform the must-see set at pretty much every major UK festival, HAIM return to the UK this December for a victory lap tour in some mid-sized venues. Impressive for a band that’s only really had songs stuck in people’s heads for just shy of a year or two, yet it undeniably feels deserved. We’ve been monitoring sibling musicians Alana, Danielle and Este for a while now and for good reason – when they arrive at Manchester’s illustrious Ritz on December 8th it may be the last time they play such an intimate venue.
There band’s début album Days Are Gone hits shelves on September 30th and it couldn’t come fast enough. For the past year we’ve been teased with earworms Falling, Send Me Down, Forever and Don’t Save Me – each eating away our precious Spotify minutes in the best way possible. This Fleetwood Mac-meets-90s RnB trio have been holding out on serving up the goods, instead offering only feverishly intense live shows that have done much to whet the appetite. By the time their Manchester date rolls around we should all be well familiar with just what HAIM have to offer, making this show one for the diaries for sure.
