Jesca Hoop, the native LA songstress who now calls the city of Manchester home, returns with her new EP ‘Snowglobe’ and an intimate UK tour.
Having wowed Elbow’s Guy Garvey with her hypnotising vocal talents and emotional force, he invited her to be the main support during the bands US and UK tours. In addition, Garvey duetted with her on the track ‘Murder of Birds’ appearing on Hoop’s debut album ‘Hunting My Dress’.
With her new EP, we’re offered four personal and powerful acoustic tracks detailing Hoop’s former life living in the underbelly of LA, her undying love for home and an almost hymnal tribute to her family.
Renowned for her vocal improvisation, this latest EP allows for her arresting voice to shine through and lure you in. Details of her upcoming UK tour and a taster of her music can be found below. ‘Snowglobe’ is released on April 4th 2011.
