The final line up for Manchester’s Friends of Mine festival has been announced and things have gone from awesome to unmissable. New editions to this brand spanking new 10,000 capacity event include Yuck, Kid British, Young Knives and Black Lips. They’ll be joining a whole host of Northern acts including Dutch Uncles, The Whip, Mr Scruff, and Blackpool’s own Karima Francis to name just a few.
In addition, the site boasts a Jazz Stage curated by The Northern Quarter’s beloved Matt & Phred’s, an aptly named Satellite Stage providing picturesque views of the nearby observatory at Jordell bank, and a comedy tent headlined by the bard of Salford himself poet John Cooper Clarke.
