Minnesota punk rockers Motion City Soundtrack have announced plans to return to the UK later this year for an eight-date tour. The band, who recently topped the bill at May’s Slam Dunk Festival, will be touring in support of their latest album Go which was released earlier this year. The pop-punk five piece will be playing Manchester Academy 2 and the Cockpit in Leeds as well as a number of other dates around the country.
Go is the band’s fifth full length album and the follow up to 2010’s My Dinosaur Life which was well received by fans and critics alike. Their eleven track new record boasts the charismatic single True Romance and was recorded at Flowers Studio in the band’s home town of Minneapolis.
