Passion Pit, the band named after the slag used to describe drive-in theatres due to the amorous activities pursued by those on a date, have announced details of a UK tour for November as well as a new single. The band, who released their critically-acclaimed second album “Gossamer” last month, will release “Take A Walk” on Monday 17th September.
The US band have received good reviews from the new album, their second after debut “Manners” was released in 2009. It’s not been an easy road with lead singer Michael Angelakos revealing he’s been battling with a bi-polar disorder since the age of 18. With songs like “I’ll Be Alright” frenetic and synth laden, expect the live shows to project the same jumbled energy.
