21 year old Salford born singer and widely rated newcomer Ren Harvieu is a Northern Noise favourite. Having been at Ren’s exclusive album launch in Manchester earlier in the year, we are happy that she has announced an 8 date UK tour, as well as festival appearances this summer at T in the Park and Bestival. Having been showing off her talents on Jools Holland’s show we’re confident that tickets for these gigs will be quick to sell and hard to get hold of.
The album “Through The Night” was originally set for release in the summer of 2011. However, this changed when Ren suffered a terrible accident which left her with a broken back and not knowing whether she would ever walk again. Thankfully after a miraculous recovery, Ren is back on her feet and ready to bring her music to the awaiting crowds across the country.
We’re expecting nothing but brilliance as she heads to Manchester’s HMV Ritz on October 9th. It’s more than likely that next time around, she’ll be playing an even bigger stage.
