Sheffield’s Reverend & The Makers are currently supporting Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds but have recently unveiled some headline dates of their own. In October the band will be playing Manchester’s HMV Ritz, plus dates in Newcastle, Leeds, Liverpool, and their steel city home.
The group are most known for their breakthrough top-ten single Heavyweight Champion Of The World and have released two albums to date. This tour will feature material from upcoming record @reverend_makers – that’s the actual title, how postmodern. It’s scheduled to appear on 18th June 2012.
June also sees support slots with Red Hot Chilli Peppers, including a date in Sunderland’s Stadium Of Light. Festival shows, including one at V, are also confirmed. October sees their first headline tour in some time, tickets are favourably priced at £12.50
