A massive coffee festival is coming to Manchester in early November with arts, crafts, tastings and talks celebrating the history and future of brewing.
From Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 November, Bowler’s Exhibition Centre will be transformed to host Manchester Coffee Festival and a range of tasting rooms and talk spaces – with many leading industry names due to make an appearance. Big brands like Oatly, Minor Figures, Atkinsons Coffee Roasters and Allpress Espresso will be exhibiting, alongside local favourites like Ancoats Coffee Co., Grindsmith Coffee Roasters, Bohea Teas and Takk.
Meanwhile, visitors will be able to attend events on topics like zero waste and coffee science, with talks touching upon issues pertinent to the industry such as blend identity and consumers’ move towards speciality coffee. Local food traders like Seitans Kebab will be on-hand to dish up a selection of vegan dishes and there will even be a live-music line-up featuring guest DJs and regional bands alongside arts and crafts events – including the chance to make your own ceramic reusable coffee cup.
